I'm running an iMac 27" mid 2010 with an i7 2.93GHz 8GB RAM and a Radeon HD 5750.Īfter installing the fix the game launcher will rescan your hardware and will report that you're using an Nvidia 8800 GS, this is normal. I've seen no graphics or sound glitches after getting it to run, aside from the glitches that were caused by the game engine itself and would be normal to see on a native Windows platform. As for performance the game runs perfect. To fix this I had to drop the settings to "low" on the Fallout launcher, I'm certain there's something in the advanced settings that causing the crash but haven't had the time to narrow it down yet. After I installed the fix I was able to start a new game and create a character, however, I couldn't leave the house you start out in because it would crash. I finally got it to work after installing the D3D "fix" that is supposed to help Windows users get better performance from the game, it also apparently helps Parallels work. I bought Fallout New Vegas the day it came out and thought sure it would work fine with Parallels since Fallout 3 already does so.
